Play Grow Do was created to support grassroots projects that promote creative health, wellbeing, and meaningful social connection. Our mission is to provide inclusive, engaging activities that nurture physical, mental, and social wellbeing, with a special focus on supporting older adults and strengthening community connections.

Our Core Pillars

Play

Encouraging playful enjoyment for all stages of life by offering activities that promote wellbeing.

Grow

Promoting environmental awareness and supporting biodiversity through initiatives like restorative horticulture, food supply programs, and creating ornamental and edible gardens.

Do

Supporting positive change and learning through in-person and online sessions that combine exercise, socialising, and creative activities.

“May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all.”

Inspired by the mantra Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu

Our Vision

We reimagine ageing as a connected, visible, and valued stage of life. Our community-led spaces bring older people together, creating belonging, equity, and active participation.

Our place-based approach ensures that caring for elders, promoting equity, and protecting the planet are intrinsically connected. We are building a model of community support that challenges the invisibility often experienced in later life, cultivating a culture of care embedded in everyday life rather than confined to isolated systems.

Play – Joy, movement, and wellbeing for every stage of life.
Grow – Nurturing nature, biodiversity, and equitable access to resources.
Do – Learning, creativity, and shared experiences that connect and empower
